Prairie People is an Indigenous-owned company based in Mohkinstis (Calgary, Alberta) and operated by Jani K Redgun from the Siksika Nation, part of the Blackfoot Confederacy.

About Us

Prairie People offers a range of cultural camps and traditional teachings focused on the Blackfoot language and Niisitapi heritage. Programs include plant medicine, pemmican preparation, moccasin crafting, and traditional regalia making.

Our Work

Our work is dedicated to reclaiming Indigenous teachings to empower youth and share our traditional ways of life with others. We welcome everyone to participate in our camps and traditional teachings.
